DOUCET EM-2 End Matcher, Double End:Specifications: -- 12" Min. to 96" max. length x 1-3/4" to 5" width x 3/4" thick cap.; bar spacing is available at 12" center to center. -- Feed chains are is powered by a 3 HP fixed speed drive at 28 lugs per minute (simple to add a variable speed drive). Equipped with independent tongue & groove machining centers laid out on opposite sides of the transport table. -- Capacity is approx. 8,000 - 10,000 board feet per shift based on feed stock 2-1/4" wide x 36" long. Tongue & Groove Machining Centers with: -- 12" Dia. squaring saw; tongue station features a bottom & a 10" dia. top groover; Groove Station with 10" dia. groover; (5) squaring saws & groovers are powered by 3 HP arbor motors. -- When the machining centers, material is pushed up against the holddown press foot for justification with respect to the top of the board; material is placed between the traverse bars at the infeed end of the machine. -- While random length pieces are brought forward, material is positioned by perpendicular roller conveyors ahead of both machining centers; 3rd roller conveyor takes care of lateral outfeed. -- Roller conveyors are 24" wide and are embedded into the transport table; system equipped with motorized pinch roller to re-align pieces longer than 60" prior to the 2nd machining center. -- End-Matcher Model "EM" is designed for end-matching of strip flooring in a mid-sized volume production environment; End-Matcher "EM" is 21' long; overall width including the machining centers is 8 feet.
