Go Fast Manufacturing to be awarded WEDC - Wisconsin Automation Implementation Grant

Go Fast Manufacturing (Go Fast) in partnership with WMEP Manufacturing Solutions (WMEP) is pleased to announce they will be receiving a grant award presented by the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) recognizing the first completed project eligible from WEDC’s Wisconsin Automation Implementation Grant. This event, which includes a brief presentation, plant tours, and lunch, takes place on March 28th from 11 am – 2 pm at Go Fast’s facility at N3752 Drier Road, New London, WI 54961.

WEDC CEO Melissa Hughes, Go Fast’s President Dan Berken, elected officials, and representatives from WMEP Manufacturing Solutions and Wisconsin Center for Manufacturing & Productivity will provide brief remarks on the Wisconsin Automation Grant, and Go Fast’s successful automation selection and implementation project.

The Wisconsin Automation Grant is designed to lower the risk of companies’ automation implementation by providing project selection and implementation assistance through WMEP’s Automation Advisor™, and financial support from the WEDC. This program helps support companies’ implementation of technology that mitigates the effects of long-term worker shortages, while increasing productivity and innovation capabilities leading to increased competitiveness and growth opportunities for Wisconsin manufacturers.

The NEW Go Fast Unscrambler is Built to Last & Perform

Shiocton, Wisconsin – Go Fast Manufacturing is excited to announce the release of the newest addition to their impressive line of cut-stock equipment: The new Go Fast Unscrambler. This conveying system is designed to be safe, durable, and compact. It is used to singulate material into your system, one piece at a time. The cut-off saw operator or anyone else you choose has three simple controls at their fingertips. This eliminates the labor of manually loading material onto your saw.

The Go Fast Unscrambler is built super heavy-duty and uses large H78 chain and sprockets throughout the chain decks. The optional sprockets in the center of the package deck break stickered or frozen bundles apart before the material falls into the unscrambler pit. Removable steel catch arms are included on the infeed side of the package deck to help prevent material from falling off. Compact and sturdily constructed, the new unscrambler is a highly capable design. The system features:

Go Fast MFG Introduces the Fast, Strong, Accurate and Fast Adjusting DET-72 Double End Trimsaw

Shiocton, WI – Every pallet pre-cut operation requires accurate end trimming of a wide range of lengths and thicknesses. So Go Fast, the pallet industry’s most innovative machinery manufacturer, created a fast acting, adjustable head system that can process standard thicknesses up to 3 ½” and lengths up to 72” with longer lengths available upon request. This exciting new machine was designed to provide durability and long-life at a price point that allows small operations and large custom crate manufacturers to replace their slow manual chop saws with a highly productive double end trimmer. Accuracy is enhanced by utilizing laser guide lights that move with the saws, lowering setup times. The innovative new Powered Belt Return is self-adjusting and offers operators the ability to fine-tune the return belt height and angle to fit your specific mix of products. When setting the sawblade to the desired board thickness, the feed belt conveyor, return belt and cant return arm are all simultaneously adjusted to maintain optimum height for peak performance. In addition, the return belt and landing table are also fully adjustable to allow operators to set cant return angles, decreasing operator fatigue and increasing both speed and productivity.
