Built on the solid foundation of design that has made our conventional linear edger so popular with customers, the tandem arbor linear edger utilizes intelligent design to keep things simple and provide the highest available piece counts available in linear edger systems anywhere. This edger system processes over 50 pieces per minute of random length material in a 20' southern yellow pine mill. Each sawbox lifts out of the cutpath to pre-set its saws for its next cut while the other sawbox is cutting. This allows for greatly reduced gaps and belt speed at the highest piece counts in the world.

The McDonough gang edger is available with a shifting cluster and shifting linebar to allow the operator to choose both the size and location of the center cant with simple controls from the cab.
