CRD Metal Works introduces the NEW Beaver Cleaver Box-Shaver Splitter

New for 2016, introducing the "Beaver Cleaver", Woodbine's newest addition to the firewood processing market. Designed from the popular Green Monster splitter, we've taken it to the next level based on customer feedback and requests. Based on the "box-shaver" concept, our hydraulically adjustable wedge shaves the bottom of the firewood block to a pre-set firewood size from 2" to 6" in height based on customer requirement. Featuring our push-button splitting system synonymous with the Woodbine line-up, the Beaver Cleaver features a CRD EXCLUSIVE, 18/42 gallon two-stage pump. With our custom made 5" ram, this unit delivers a cycle time under 5 seconds and nearly 30+ tons of splitting power. Designed to fit the rigors of the bundle and package firewood industry, the Beaver Cleaver eliminates re-splits and uses a proprietary and provisionally patented "reciprocating" splitting method that is both hands free and automated.
