Wood-Mizer Introduces Two-Sided Planer/Moulder

Wood-Mizer introduces the compact MP200 Planer/Moulder for planing and moulding material on two sides in a single pass. Joining the Wood-Mizer range of four-sided planer/moulders, the two-sided MP200 is engineered to produce a variety of professionally finished products including flooring, planed boards, crown moulding, cabinet trim, paneling, door and window frames, furniture components, and more.

Starting at $6,295 USD, the MP200 comes with one horizontal top cutter and one vertical side cutter that can both be fitted with planing knives or moulding profile knives depending on production needs. Steel and rubber power feed rollers with a variable feed of 6 – 40 fpm move the board under the top horizontal cutter and past the vertical side cutter to plane and mould material on one or two adjoining sides with each pass. With the MP200, planing and moulding material on all four sides can be can completed in only two passes.
