KUPER FLI 1250 INNOVATION Series Feed-Thru Veneer Splicer with top & bottom heating.Automatic lineal splicer with integral glue applicator. Can glue/join the edges of strips or similar pre-glued veneer. UREA based glue is preferable with veneers exposed to high temperatures during subsequent processing. -- Features: Gluing system to join veneer edges passing through a PVAC or urea "disc style" glue application zone at high speed or will join pre-glued veneers for an immediate tight hold and joint. Heating system with high efficiency and an effective heating width of only 12 mm. -- Size capacity: Can handle veneers, 0.3 - 2.5 mm (0.012" - 0.098") veneer thickness; min. veneer strip length approx 350 mm (13.8"); min. strip width 45 mm (1.77"); max. width. 49.2" (1250 mm) on throat side. -- Equipped with: Heating elements top/bottom with individual temperature control, approx. 3/4" (19 mm) wide narrow heating elements. -- Feed Chain/Drive: Maintenance-free high efficiency plastic chains prevent heat conduction and stains. With dual upper & lower feeding transport chains made of low-heat conductive fibre. Direct Drive variable feed speed from 40 - 180 FPM, 1.5 HP (1.1 KW) feed drive, disc roller drive feeding system w/thickness compensation. -- Complete with: Stainless & Chromed work surface, operator controls in rotating eye-level height control panel, and digital temperature settings & thermostats. Heating temperature approx. 220° C max. Length of heating section 1200 mm (47.2"). -- Includes: Chiller "which prolongs the glue pot life". -- Floor space: Approx. 115" x 78" x 58" high (2900 x 1960 x 1470 mm). -- Services required: Connected load: approx 11.8 KVA.
