Sometimes this mounts onto the right side of the beam, sometimes on the left (depends where you can find space for the installation). -- With this setup, the digital readout can:Measure bottom up from bottom fence, ANDMeasure bottom up from mid-fence (up to 3 flip outs can be used), ANDMeasure top-down with kerf compensationModel 290 scale offer excellent debris resistance (wood, plastic, and metal), plus high slew rates, and very low maintenance.
