PHI IR-3 Preheater;Overall dimensions 5' wide x 4' long, consisting of: (3) IR Medium Wave heating banks, each 1" wide x 54" long, bank has gold foil quartz heating elements.This IR unit is designed to preheat the board to facilitate out gassing and help eliminate solvent pop and air bubbles in the coatings of deep pored materials such as oak. Also used to standardize board temps during colder months as well as decrease dry times of other substrates. These units are primarily (but not exclusively) designed for use before the application of stain and sealer coats. Features: Explosion proof electrics, electrical heat temperature adjustable from 100° - 150° F, variable feed speed from 8 - 30 FPM (2.5 - 9 MPM).
