CORDES WEDGIT MODEL 30 Automatic Programmable Stair Wedge Cutter with PLC and coperator input display of parameters. Cuts wedges to fit your stairs automatically without an operator attending. This model was developed over (3) generations of improvement. Can change wedge angle and wedge thickness on-the-fly. Basic Operation: -- Operator selects the wedge length and board thickness parameters. Then he loads the riser board in the infeed hopper (linear back to back) and end of board stop is set, the run button is pressed, and the machine cuts notches automatically and continuously until the end of board stop, thus consumes entire boards with no left-over scrap. -- When board is finished the operator has the choice of repeating pitch, depth, and board length or changing parameters . Boards can be added to infeed without stopping/interrupting machine cutting.Specifications: -- Riser capacity approx. 4" - 12" by 1/4" to 1". Wedge lengths approx. 5" - 11". Saw motor 2 HP. PLC control with pneumatic power. Utilizes standard 10" saw blade with 5/8" bore. -- Features: The simple operation requires minimal operator training. Does not require programming, just parameter inputs. Operator chooses notch depth, notch pitch, and board length.
