HOLZ-HER 1417 SPRINT Edgebander w/Premilling.Max. 1/2" (12 mm) solid wood banding & 3 mm PVC cap., 2-3/8" max. panel thickness and 5-1/2" min. panel length. -- Pneumatically controlled Pre-milling station with (2) 3 HP - 18,000 RPM motor vertical milling heads, both with pneumatic jump controls, SIKO digital readouts for setup & adjustment.Equipped with: -- Cartridge glue system (quick heat up time) with stackable hopper & floating glue nozzle for automatic height adjustment. -- Automatic magazine for coil, strip & solid edgebanding with heavy duty guillotine for 3 mm PVC. -- Pressure section is servo-motor controlled with: (1) Large drive roller and (2) idle rollers, each w/individual pneumatic plunge & pressure control, 1st roller with direct chain drive synchronized with conveyor belt feed speed.Workstations: -- Double motor end trim (0.5 HP - 300 Cy HF motors), adjustable 0° - 15° for chamfer cuts electro-pneumatically from control panel. -- Top & bottom flush trim unit (0.8 HP - 300 Cy HF motors 18,000 RPM). -- Servo driven top & bottom super finish & radius trim unit (0.8 HP - 300 Cy HF motors 18,000 RPM), bevels 0° - 15° for bevel cuts. -- Top & bottom profile scrapers for up to 3 mm thick PVC banding, radius range from 2 - 5 mm, vertical & horizontal tracing shoes for precise accuracy. -- Top & bottom jump buffing unit (0.25 HP - 2,600 RPM motor ea.), tilts 0° - 5°. -- Variable feed speed 8 - 20 MPM (26 - 65 FPM), panel overhang beyond chain 35 mm (1.38").Complete with: -- Microprocessor line control, 10 KVA Frequency Inverter; SIKO digital readouts on all high frequency trimming units for increased accuracy. -- Includes: Outboard panel support, and sound enclosure w/interior lights over entire machine.
