The "FX" series is a self-contained modular designed unit for interior use utilizes a dynamically balanced fan. -- "TEFC" motors, precision Laser-Cut components, & multiple discharge options with standard being plastic bags. -- AIREWORKS own Cruise Control system and how it works... Multiple machines can be connected to a single FX collector. The following example shows several machines connected to FX15-5000.Each machine can be isolated by a slide gate when not in use. If machines 1 & 2 total 4,500 CFM when they are in use, the sensor will request the Cruise Control software in the VFD to run the fan motor at the required speed to exhaust exactly 4,500 CFM. The motor will in this case run at 55.9Hz and consume 11 HP. If machine (4) starts and machine (2) shuts down, then the exhaust requirement drops to 2,200 CFM.The Cruise Control will now request the fan motor to spool down to 55Hz and the power consumption drops to 8.6HP.
